Abdul el-Sayed becomes first Muslim-American to win Michigan Senate primary

Sayed made supporting Palestinians and criticism of Israel and the Iran war a big part of his campaign, and he has not explicitly endorsed democratic socialism like other progressives in the Democratic Party.
