Since 2012, we have delivered independent journalism and expert analysis that holds power accountable and bridges perspectives across borders. Doing that well takes a team as varied as the region we cover, and we are committed to a newsroom and a business where a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and viewpoints are represented.
Our vision is to be the primary source that global decision-makers, fellow journalists, and engaged citizens turn to first to understand the region. That work is carried by our reporters alongside a wider team of product managers, analysts, marketers, events professionals, and operators who bring rigorous journalism to a worldwide audience in English and Arabic.
AL-MONITOR is read at the highest levels, from the White House and NATO to the World Bank and foreign ministries around the world, and our reporting is cited by Reuters, the BBC, the Washington Post, and the Associated Press. In just its second year, AL-MONITOR won the International Press Institute's Free Media Pioneer Award, the only American outlet exclusively covering the Middle East to receive the honor.

Executive Director, Events & Partnerships

Build six and seven figure sponsorships, turn one-time deals into renewable partnerships, and open new arenas across the nonprofit, academic, and digital-workshop space. Lead the events team as one of three arm leaders shaping how the newsroom convenes global decision-makers.
