The ancient manuscripts of Egypt's Sinai monastery - Al-Monitor: The Middle Eastʼs leading independent news source since 2012

A team of researchers is creating the first digitized archive of manuscripts from St. Catherine's Monastery in Egypt's Sinai peninsula. The aim is to preserve the heritage housed in the one of the world’s oldest libraries, and to share a legacy viewed as sacred by all three major religions.
