GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip — The new Palestinian government continues to pursue its plan to economically disengage from Israel by improving Palestinian industries and local products, establishing new industrial cities in the Palestinian governorates and developing existing industrial zones.

The government has brought into play a plan it calls “industrial clusters” in order to promote comprehensive economic planning, which aims to take advantage of the competitive advantages of each Palestinian governorate and strengthen those advantages in economic terms.
