Biden-Netanyahu quarrel reaches new heights

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's quarrel with US President Joe Biden has reached “a dangerous new level,” according to Ben Caspit, after the United States abstained from voting on a UN Security Council resolution calling for a cease-fire and Netanyahu responded by canceling a visit by two of his senior advisers.

Netanyahu has since retreated with announcements that the visit is being rescheduled. The Biden-Bibi grudge match has been great copy, but has not dented US support for Israel in the war on Hamas.

Bibi’s fall from Biden’s good graces has been well documented with an almost daily drip of articles, statements and remarks that Biden, who until recently was fond of repeating that he loved Bibi despite their differences, has finally had enough.
