An improvised explosive device went off in southern Syria on Tuesday, killing two civilians. The IED exploded in Jubata Al Khashab in the Quneitra province when the two civilians hit it with their vehicle, the official SANA news outlet reported.

SANA said it was unknown who planted the IED. A leader in the Syrian Revolutionaries Front was assassinated in the area in June, the Syrian news outlet Baladi News reported in a Tuesday article on the IED blast.
