ANKARA — Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will kick off a Gulf tour Tuesday, heading to Kuwait, Oman and Qatar to strengthen economic ties, boost regional diplomacy and sign a series of agreements with key Gulf partners.

Details: Erdogan and his counterparts in the three Gulf countries are expected to review “all aspects” of bilateral relations and discuss steps to “further enhance existing cooperation,” according to the Turkish Presidency’s communications director, Burhanettin Duran.

“The talks are also expected to include consultations on regional developments and other international issues,” Duran wrote on X. He added that several agreements would be signed “to strengthen the contractual basis of bilateral relations.”
