What we know about Israel-Hamas cease-fire as Mossad chief visits Qatar

The parties involved hope that the upcoming four-day cease-fire will be expanded to include more hostages and more humanitarian assistance.

Israel’s Mossad chief David Barnea reportedly arrived in Qatar Wednesday to finalize all the details ahead of the implementation of the Israel-Hamas cease-fire and hostage release. 

Israeli media reported that Barnea is in Doha where he will meet with senior officials as the deal goes into effect. 

When it starts

Hamas senior leader Moussa Abu Marzouk said that the cease-fire will start Thursday at 10:00 a.m. local time, 3:00 a.m. ET.
