First dance center inaugurated in Egypt

CAIRO — Egypt’s first center dedicated to teaching and preserving oriental dancing as an authentic Egyptian art and heritage opened its doors in Cairo June 30.

The Taqseem Institute was founded by Egyptian belly dancer Amie Sultan.
