The United Arab Emirates announced restrictions on wheat exports today, including supplies that originate from India.

The Emirati Ministry of Economy said that exports of Indian wheat and wheat flour are prohibited for four months. The measure applies to wheat products originating in India that entered the UAE on May 13 or later, the ministry said in a statement. Indian wheat can now only be used for domestic consumption in the Gulf state.
