Qatar awards translation prizes in China

Qatar’s ambassador to China presented awards for Arabic-Chinese translation to promote the fostering of understanding between the Arab world and China.
English: 15th century manuscript of the Quran written on coloured Chinese (Ming dynasty) paper speckled with gold flecks; produced under the Aq Qoyunlu Confederation (1378–1501) or the Timurid Empire (1370–1507).

Qatar held an awards ceremony for translators in China today.

Qatari Ambassador to China Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Dehaimi hosted the event, presenting the 2021 Sheikh Hamad Award for Translation and International Understanding to Ge Tieying, Wang Fu and Li Zhenzhong for  translation from Arabic to Chinese, the official Qatar News Agency reported.
