Iranian forces rescue Indian ship

The vessel was en route to Oman when it encountered stormy conditions.

Iranian marine forces rescued the crew of an Indian ship today.

The vessel was carrying sugar to the Omani port city of Sohar. It encountered a storm and suffered from technical difficulties as well as a fracture in its structure and partially sank in the Gulf of Oman off the coast of the Iranian city of Jask. The crew are in good condition, the official Islamic Republic News Agency reported.
