A group of UK lawyers submitted a report Monday accusing 10 British nationals of war crimes and crimes against humanity over their Israeli military service in Gaza.

The Guardian first reported on Monday that prominent UK litigator Michael Mansfield and a team of UK lawyers and researchers based in The Hague will file the 240-page complaint with the UK’s War Crimes Unit of the Metropolitan Police Counter Terrorism Command on behalf of the Gaza-based Palestinian Center for Human Rights and the UK’s Public Interest Law Center.

The report, according to a release from the Public Interest Law Center, is the first of its kind in the UK. The suspects have not been publicly identified, nor has the full report been released, but the organizations involved released a summary of the document on Monday.

According to the summary, the report alleges that from Oct. 7, 2023, to May 31, 2024, the British suspects, all British citizens and some Israeli dual nationals, were involved in the targeted killing of civilians and aid workers, indiscriminate attacks on civilian areas, forced displacement of civilians and coordinated attacks on protected historic and religious sites. It also includes testimony from witnesses in Gaza.
