Emad el-Din Aysha received his MA and PhD in international studies from the University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom, following a BA in economics and philosophy at the same institution. Most recently, he taught at the American University in Cairo as an adjunct assistant professor of sociology, history and development economics, and taught the course “Principles of International Law” at the British University in Egypt. He also works in English-language journalism in Egypt, freelancing for newspapers like Daily News Egypt and the Egyptian Mail, the Tuesday edition of The Egyptian Gazette. He is currently a staff writer with Egypt Oil and Gas.
