"When you destroy its bridges, when you destroy its universities, when you destroy its healthcare institutions, what you're signaling to the Iranian people is not that we want to take you to the Stone Age.
"I think that's- that's an insulting terminology, but what you're really telling them is that we want to make you a failed state. We want you to become like Syria or Libya. That's what you're telling them.”
