US top diplomat for Iran Brian Hook steps down

Hook was a key figure in the Trump administration's pressure campaign against Iran.

The Trump administration’s top official for Iranian affairs is stepping down.

US Special Representative for Iran Brian Hook has decided to leave his role, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced today.
