NATO's Rutte says billions in new defense contracts will be announced at summit

WASHINGTON, June 25 (Reuters) - NATO chief Mark Rutte said on Thursday that tens of billions of dollars in new defense-related contracts will be announced at the alliance's upcoming Julysummit in Ankara.

In remarks at the Atlantic Council, Rutte also said NATO would pledge support for Ukraine at the summit, which Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy will attend.
