Most airlines suspend Beirut flights as Israel ramps up Lebanon attacks
International airlines have canceled flights to the Lebanese capital and Tel Aviv due to intensifying fighting between Israel and Hezbollah.
Iraqi Airways is one of only a handful airlines flying to Beirut as international carriers cancel flights over the escalating Israel-Hezbollah conflict.
The flight log for Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport showed arrivals on Tuesday from Middle East Airlines, Lebanon’s national airline and Iraqi Airways. All other flights including those on Emirates, Royal Jordanian and EgyptAir had been cancelled.

Wednesday’s flight log showed scheduled arrivals for Middle East Airlines, Iraqi Airways, Oman’s Salam Air and Petroleum Air Services, which serves the oil industry.
