A new earthquake measuring 5.6 struck Turkey’s Malatya province on Monday at 12:04 p.m. local time, killing at least one person and injuring at least 69, Turkish officials said, merely three weeks after two massive earthquakes that hit 11 Turkish provinces including Malatya.

Turkey’s disaster management agency AFAD said nearly 30 buildings collapsed and that five people were rescued from under the rubble after the temblor that was centered in the southern Malatya town of Yesilyurt.
