Tourism to Dubai up nearly 200% this year

The Expo 2020 Dubai provided a big boost as the Emirati city continues to bounce back from the coronavirus pandemic.

Tourist visits to Dubai are way up so far this year. 

The Dubai Media Office said today that there were 6.17 million international “overnight” visitors from January to May 2022. This constituted a 197% increase from the same period in 2021, when slightly more than 2 million people visited the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) largest city.
