Turkish foreign minister meets Iranian president in Tehran

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu visited Iran today where he had a series of reportedly friendly meetings with Iranian officials.

Cavusoglu met his Iranian counterpart, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, in Tehran. The two discussed economic relations, their shared border, and developments in the Levant, Caucus and Afghanistan, Iran’s official Islamic Republic News Agency reported.
