Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman swept into Washington on Tuesday for his first White House visit since 2018, arriving with a constellation of business titans and celebrity names that illustrated the kingdom’s revived pull in the US capital.

President Donald Trump welcomed the crown prince with a red carpet, Oval Office talks and a black-tie dinner that drew a lineup featuring everyone from Elon Musk and Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang to soccer superstar Ronaldo and FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

Beneath the pomp, the White House meeting centered on advancing defense, tech and investment deals — and by nightfall, Riyadh appeared to have moved closer to securing several top goals.

Details: Following the Oval Office meeting, the Trump administration announced a slew of agreements, headlined by the US-Saudi Strategic Defense Agreement and Trump’s decision to designate Saudi Arabia as a major non-NATO ally. Trump also approved a defense package including long-sought F-35 stealth fighter jets.
