Israeli officials said on Wednesday that they foiled an Iranian weapons-smuggling plot in the West Bank, the latest in a series of alleged Iran-linked operations in the territory.

Israel’s domestic security agency, Shin Bet, said they seized 29 explosive devices, four drones, 15 anti-tank rockets, three rocket-propelled grenades and a launcher, and dozens of firearms, including machine guns, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition, according to Israeli media reports.

The agency said it arrested an alleged arms dealer near Ramallah, the Palestinian Authority’s administrative center, earlier this year, leading them to the shipment. The plot was allegedly orchestrated by Unit 4000 and Unit 18840 of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), according to the agency.

Iranian officials did not immediately comment.
