Wall Street, Silicon Valley executives to join Trump in Saudi Arabia as US courts Gulf funds

US President Trump is visiting Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates on May 13-15 in his first foreign visit since returning to the White House for his second term in January.

Executives from America's top firms will jet into Saudi Arabia when President Donald Trump visits next week as Washington pushes for increased Gulf investment into the United States.

Among the executives will be Larry Fink, CEO of asset manager BlackRock, and Jane Fraser, CEO of Citigroup, Bloomberg reported Tuesday.

Google parent company Alphabet Inc.’s President and Chief Investment Officer Ruth Porat will also be in the kingdom next week, as will Blackstone's CEO Stephen Schwarzman and Jenny Johnson, CEO of Franklin Templeton Investments. 

Trump is set to visit the region May 13-16 stopping in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
