At least 25 Palestinians have been killed and tens of thousands of others displaced as the ongoing Israeli offensive in the northern West Bank entered its 22nd day on Tuesday.

On Jan. 21, just two days after a ceasefire entered into force in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli military launched a massive operation in the Jenin refugee camp it said was to “thwart terrorism.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the offensive in a statement as a “large-scale and significant military operation” against the “Iranian axis” in the occupied West Bank.

The ongoing operation, called “Iron Wall,” has since expanded to other areas of the West Bank, including Tulkarem, the Far'a refugee camp in Tubas and most recently on Saturday, in the Nur Shams camp in Tulkarem governorate.
