A flurry of agreements have been made at the UN climate change conference COP27, which kicked off in Sharm el-Sheikh Egypt this week.

The Emirati renewable energy company Masdar announced a new wind farm in Egypt, which will build on Egypt’s growing wind power production.

Israel, the UAE and Jordan also signed a deal to exchange desalinated water for solar energy

Egypt is presenting a sustainable fashion project at the conference, which will address the fashion industry’s harmful environmental impact. Egypt announced the launch of a new green hydrogen project at COP27.
