Israel's El Al Airlines will operate its first flight to Morocco on Tuesday. The historic flight follows Israel and Morocco agreeing to normalize relations this month.

The plane will fly a US-Israeli delegation from Tel Aviv to Rabat, Reuters reported.

Israel and Morocco's agreement to establish relations followed the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain's decisions to normalize ties with Israel this year. Sudan is also considering such an agreement with Israel.

Flight number LY555 is not listed on El Al’s flight schedule, and there are currently no regularly scheduled flights between Israel and Morocco. Passenger flights could come soon, however. Israel and the UAE quickly agreed to establish daily flights between the two countries shortly after they agreed to establish relations.
