Catwalk becomes catfight on Turkish TV
A fashion-themed reality show, marked by shouting matches between contestants and jury members, has broken rating records in Turkey.
On the popular, fashion-themed reality TV show “Bu tarz benim” (This is my style), viewers heard the following comments after contestants appeared on the catwalk:
Melisa (contestant): Don’t get yokelish, don’t get ugly! Know your limits! Know your limits and place, get it?
Nihal (contestant): “Know your limits!” [imitating Melisa]. You’re giving me more material.
Melisa: Know your limits! You can’t stretch your mouth like that trying to mock me here!
