China, India, EU countries evacuate citizens from Iran and Israel
Some countries are urging citizens to leave Israel and Iran via land borders as the airports remain closed.
China, India, and several European Union countries are evacuating their citizens from Israel and Iran amid the escalating war between the two nations.
Israel began striking Iran on Friday in an attempt to thwart the Islamic Republic’s alleged pursuit of a nuclear weapon. The strikes across Iran have killed numerous Iranian military leaders and damaged government institutions, bases and other structures.
Iran began firing missiles at Israel later on Friday, damaging residential buildings as well as a power plant. At least 224 people have been killed in Iran in addition to 24 in Israel, according to authorities in each.
