From UK to Jordan: Delegations pour into Damascus, meet Syria's al-Sharaa
Officials from the Arab world, Turkey, the US and Europe have sent delegations to Syria since the ouster of President Bashar al-Assad.
Diplomats from Jordan and Qatar expressed support for Syria’s new administration in meetings with Hayat Tahrir al-Sham leader Ahmed al-Sharaa on Monday, adding to the number of countries seeking to engage with the rebel group.
Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi held talks with Sharaa in Damascus.

Safadi expressed support for Syria’s political transition, saying that Jordan “stands with the brotherly Syrian people and supports their choices and efforts to rebuild their homeland and institutions through a transitional process led by Syrians,” according to a readout from the Jordanian Foreign Ministry.
Safadi called for the participation of "all Syrians" in the political process and emphasized the need for their rights to be respected
