Egypt, Saudi Arabia prep for joint military drills as ties strengthen
The drills are the latest sign of growing relations between the two countries.
Saudi armed forces arrived in Egypt on Friday to take part in joint military exercises with their Egyptian counterparts in the latest such drills between the two countries that have considerable influence in the tumultuous region.
The Saudi Defense Ministry posted photos from its X account showing Saudi forces landing at an unidentified Egyptian airport to participate in the multi-day drills set to begin on Saturday.
