WASHINGTON — Foreign policy has not featured prominently in the race for the White House, even as the Biden administration struggles to contain a pair of deadly conflicts in the Middle East for which there's no end in sight. 

Neither Vice President Kamala Harris nor former President Donald Trump has offered a detailed plan for how they would approach Israel's wars in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, or deal with the ever-present threat posed by Iran. With a diplomatic solution uncertain during the remainder of President Joe Biden’s time in office, whoever wins on Tuesday will likely face an array of Middle East crises on day one.
