Hasan Kanbolat completed his undergraduate degree in economics at Ankara University and his master’s degree in history at Istanbul University. He worked at ANKA News Agency, TİKA (The Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency), the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and ASAM (Center for Eurasian Strategic Studies). He is currently the director of Center for Middle Eastern Strategic Studies (ORSAM) and Center for International Relations and Politics (UPAM). In addition, he is a regular columnist at the daily Today’s Zaman in Turkey.
