Egypt's secret police arrest second prominent human rights activist this week

Egyptian intelligence officers have arrested a second member of one of the country’s most prominent human rights groups this week, after detaining the organization’s administrative manager from his home in Cairo on Tuesday.

Security forces detained Karim Ennarah, director of criminal justice initiatives at the Egyptian Initiative for Personal Rights, in the resort town of Dahab in South Sinai on Wednesday afternoon, Mada Masr reported.
