Will Erdogan, MBS meet at G-20?

The Turkish president hasn't ruled out meeting with the Saudi crown prince in Argentina, but what could the de facto Saudi leader offer for Turkey to bury the Jamal Khashoggi murder case?

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan flew to the Argentinian capital Buenos Aires today to take part in the G-20 summit, where he is due to meet with US President Donald Trump and Russian Vladimir Putin. The big question is whether he will respond positively to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s request for a meeting, with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu not ruling one out.

It would be the first face-to-face encounter between Erdogan and Saudi Arabia’s de facto ruler since the Oct. 2 murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi at the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul.
