Never Rush to Judgment

Soon after President Barack Obama was elected in 2008, Sen. Mitch McConnell, leader of the minority Republican Party in the U.S. Senate, declared that the aim for the Republicans was that President Obama should become a one-term presidency!

Five years later, to the day, Sen. Mitch McConnell, Republican from Kentucky, was publicly on record as instrumental in enabling President Obama to avoid the financial cliff!

Perhaps one should be more careful in expressing impossible objectives. Yet, I am sure that President Obama and his colleagues are appreciative of McConnell’s contributions.

Lesson: However attractive — never rush to judgments!
