Rina Bassist

Rina Bassist, an Israeli journalist, heads Al-Monitor's Israel Pulse. She has been serving for many years as an international correspondent for the Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation, stationed in Paris, Brussels, New Orleans and Pretoria. She also contributes to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, Jerusalem Post and Ynet. Prior to her journalistic career, she served as deputy ambassador in Bogotá. Bassist is a Policy Fellow for the Israeli think tank Mitvim, a contributor to the Tel Aviv University Ifriqiya publication and frequent panelist on French LCI tv chain.
