Alfred Raouf

Alfred Raouf is a political activist who took part in the Egyptian revolution. Since participating in the 18 days of protest which brought about the downfall of the Mubarak regime, in addition to continuing to work as an engineer, he has worked with the political movement he co-founded, Almasry Alhurr, to forward the original goals of the revolution: independence, dignity, freedom and social justice in Egypt. He is also a founding member of the Al-Dostour Party, which aims to create a solid foundation for democracy and liberties after many years of dictatorship. He has studied other revolutions, regime changes and models of governance and democracy.
