المسنّات الأرمنيات ضحايا جرائم الكراهية؟

محاكمة رجل اعتُقِل على خلفية سلسلة من الهجمات التي استهدفت نساء أرمنيات مسنّات في اسطنبول، تؤجّج من جديد المخاوف من وجود عصابة عنصريّة في المدينة.

وقعت سلسلة من الهجمات استهدفت عجائز أرمنيات في مدينة اسطنبول في أواخر العام 2012 ومطلع العام 2013. وكانت جميع الضحايا من النساء في العقد الثامن من عمرهنّ، يعشن بمفردهنّ. وقد تعرّضت اثنتان منهن لضرب مبرح فقدتا بنتيجته حاسّة البصر، في حين طُعِنت ثالثة حتى الموت بعدما ضُرِبت بوحشيّة.

فقدت الضحيّة الأولى تورفاندا أسيك (87 عاماً) البصر في إحدى عينَيها نتيجة تعرّضها لضرب مبرح على يد معتدٍ اقتحم منزلها عنوة. لم يأخذ المعتدي - أو ربما المعتدون - شيئاً من الشقّة.
