A Yemeni photojournalist was shot dead near his home in Aden on Tuesday. Nabil Hasan al-Quaety, 34, was attacked by gunmen as he rode in his car in Yemen’s de facto capital, Agence France-Presse reported. Quaety was an AFP contributor.

Yemen’s government condemned the attack and called for an investigation into the incident. A security source told AFP that the assailants got away.
