US election 2016: Hillary dodges email server bullet

The FBI exonerated Hillary Clinton on the email scandal, but Republicans are no less hungry to make the Democratic presidential candidate pay for her "extremely careless" actions.

Hillary Clinton dodged a bullet this week — only time will tell if it grazed her close enough to leave a scar.

FBI Director James Comey declined July 5 to recommend charges for her use of a home server to handle government business, dashing any remaining hopes among Donald Trump supporters that the Democratic presidential candidate would be hauled off to jail. Clinton was “extremely careless,” Comey told the nation, but she did not intentionally break any laws.
