Another Egyptian MP ensnared in sex video scandal

A member of Egypt's parliament claims a sexually explicit video clip — the same one that embroiled another parliament member in scandal in December — was sent by a hacker from his account.

Egypt’s parliamentarians were caught by surprise June 26 when it appeared one of their colleagues sent a sex tape link to a WhatsApp internet message-exchange group — a group that includes 256 legislators.

The case is being investigated. The member in question said his account had been hacked. Osama Sharshar has submitted a statement explaining the situation to the secretary-general of parliament and the Cybercrime Investigation Department.
