Republicans come out swinging against Iran deal

Republican lawmakers are vowing to derail the Iran deal, declaring their opposition before the ink is dry.

Several Republican lawmakers categorically declared their opposition to the nuclear deal with Iran as soon as it was announced, leaving no doubt that it faces an uphill battle in Congress.

US lawmakers will have 60 days to review — and potentially vote against — the agreement once it's transmitted to Congress in the coming days. Congressional hawks, however, aren't waiting for the ink to dry as the campaign to derail the deal kicks into full swing.
