نُقل عن الأمين العام لحزب الله السيد حسن نصرالله قوله، خلال لقاء خاص بكشافة الإمام المهدي" التابعة للحزب في منتصف شهر حزيران يونيو الماضي، "في سوريا قلنا لن تسبى زينب مرتين وفي العراق نقول: انتهى الزمن الذي يسمح فيه لأي أحد في العالم أن يهدم أو يدنّس مقدساتنا الدينية في النجف وكربلاء وسامراء".

كلام نصر الله جاء تعليقاً على احتلال تنظيم "داعش" لمدينة الموصل ومناطق أخرى في شمال العراق وغربه الشهر الماضي، وتهديدها باقتحام المدن الشيعية المقدسة في سامراء والنجف وكربلاء وهدم مقامات أئمة أهل البيت فيها.
