World powers, Iran agree on roadmap for 'marathon' nuclear talks

A senior US official has said that reaching a comprehensive nuclear accord with Iran will be a 'very difficult, complex process.'

Vienna_ The first round of comprehensive Iran nuclear deal negotiations concluded here Thursday with agreement on all the issues that need to be addressed and a timetable of meetings over the next four months to try to do so.

"We are at the beginning of a very difficult, complex process," a senior US official said Thursday. "It's going to be both a marathon and a sprint....We have a long distance to cover in a short period of time."
