قال متحدث بإسم المفوضية العليا للأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين في 29 أيار/مايو إنّ المتطلبات المرهقة للحكومة العراقية لتأمين الوثائق صعّبت حياة حوالي 85 ألف عراقي مهجّر بسبب وقوع مدينة الرمادي في يَد الدولة الإسلامية (داعش) في 17 أيار/مايو.
